By Scott Lemieux, CPS Director
Summer has officially ended and it is an appropriate time to remind
residents that as daylight hours begin to decrease it is critical for
everyone's safety to be aware of pedestrians, bicyclists and residents
traveling in single rider golf carts throughout the community. As
always this includes coming to a complete stop at ALL stop signs,
abiding by the posted speed limit and stopping for pedestrians in
crosswalks and intersections.
Continue to be cautious of wildlife that are in the community
during the day and evenings. Coyotes and rattlesnakes present the
greatest safety concern for residents, staff and guests, as well as for
pets. If you do encounter wildlife, please contact the Front Gate
for assistance. Depending on the situation, CPS will contact non-
emergency agencies for assistance to safely address the issue.
Access to the community by guests, contractors and service
providers is strictly enforced. If guests, contractors or service
providers are not placed on a resident's guest list they will not be
granted access to the community until authorized by the resident.
In addition, guests, contractors and service providers driving into
the community must present either a valid driver's license or valid
vehicle insurance. If neither is presented, the guest, contractor, or
service provider will be directed to park in front of the Front Gate
guardhouse in order to retrieve those items before being granted
access to the community. Please remind all guests to have either a
valid driver's license or current vehicle insurance prior to arriving at
Ocean Hills.
If you have any questions, comments or concerns please contact
Scott Lemieux, Director, Community Patrol Services via email, phone
or visit the Front Gate guardhouse.
