It's autumn and I'll have to admit, fall is my favorite time of the year. The changing colors of the leaves and the cooler weather really puts my mind in a nice place. With the celebration of Thanksgiving and the sharing with family and friends it can and does bring on the feelings of thankfulness for the many good things we have. There are many songs about being thankful. Songs of praise alone are a thankful category unto itself. I've come up with 10 pop songs that offer the subject of thanks. 1. This month, our show will be on Fri., Nov. 26 starting about 5:30 or 6 pm in the South Clubhouse. Join us for music fun and friendship. Until then, we will keep a warm disinfected microphone on for you. 30 | SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | NOVEMBER 2021 | Sun Lakes Follies The three-day Sun Lakes Follies Show "Sun Lakes Does Vegas" was the first show to be seen in Sun Lakes since the pandemic and we are happy to announce it was a success! Record crowds attended for close to sold out shows for all three days. We thank all those who participated with their many talents on stage, but also to those who helped out from selling tickets, stage assistants, sound/audio, lighting, busroom attendants, decorations, printing of flyers/programs, the choreographers and costumers. Most importantly WE THANK YOU! Joanne Graham, President, hopes to see you at our next meeting to discuss what's coming up for next year!
