home, it's because that
house has been foreclosed.
Sun Lakes HOA is now
managing the upkeep
of the property until the
Association, HUD or the
bank sell or auction it
off. That means we have
the right to access the
home and yard, keep it
maintained and secure. The cost for that service is charged to the
general fund operations. Currently, we manage eight homes that are
in foreclosure, most of them due to reverse mortgage defaults.
DID YOU KNOW we have restocked some of the lakes on
the Executive golf course with Triploid (sterile) Grass Carp? These
voracious grass eaters love to eat the overgrown plants and algae,
which can help reduce the amount of pesticides required for the
management of that vegetation. This more natural, environmentally
friendly solution helps limit the need for herbicides and reduces cost.

DID YOU KNOW when you combine both indoor and
outdoor use, the average daily water consumption per person is
about 85-100 gallons? Outdoor watering makes up 30-40 percent
but that can easily go to 50% with poor equipment or practices. Not
surprisingly, the largest use of indoor water is flushing the toilet and
taking showers or baths. You can calculate your water consumption
from your city of Banning utility bill. Under water/sewer service
you'll see current usage. Next to that is 3CCF (or whatever your
number is). 1CCF equals 748 gallons. Multiply those two numbers
and divide by 30 days to get your average daily consumption. For an
interesting comparison, you can also see what your usage was last
