Tournaments this month will be the fourth and final Quarterly/ Eclectic tournament on Wed., Nov. 3; followed by the annual Sun Lakes Challenge Cup contest between us and the Executive Men's Club, in mid-November. The Men's Club Championship was held in September. There were three flights and this year's Club Champion is Bob Blair; Senior Champion is Rod Kemp and Super Seniors Champion is Ray Vanyo. Congratulations! (See photos above.) We are looking for new members to join us. The dues are $70 ($34 goes towards men's club dues and $36 pays for maintaining your S.C.G.A. / GHIN handicap). For more club info, visit www.sunlakescc.com under Golf – Golf Clubs – Men's Club Men's Golf The Executive Men's Golf Club is open to all male Sun Lakes residents who are interested in golf, fun, and camaraderie. All levels of players (beginners to experienced) are welcome. We meet every Friday morning at the North Clubhouse for shotgun starts. From October through May we meet at 8:30 am for a 9 am tee time and during June through September we meet at 8 am for an 8:30 am tee time. Come join us! Dues are $56 ($20 for club membership and $36 for your SCGA Membership). Membership forms are available in the North Club House Pro Shop or on the EMGC website. We have tournaments on the third Friday of each month to test your skills against other members followed by a catered lunch and club meeting. Our final tournament for the year is a "2-Man Best Ball – Pick Your Partner" to be played on Fri., Nov. 19. Following the tournament is our quarterly meeting, election of officers for 2022, and a catered lunch in the North Clubhouse Multipurpose Room. We look forward to you joining us. Saturday Morning Golf Are you still working and looking for a weekend golf option? Are you interested in sharpening your short game skills? Do you enjoy having a relaxed game of golf? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you may wish to join our Saturday Morning Golf Group. We play on the Executive Course. Our membership includes men and women with a large range of handicaps. Our members share a love of the game. We have shotgun starts. Most of the year, October through June, the check in time is 8:30 am with a 9 am shotgun. In the summer, July through September, the check in time is 8 am with an 8:30 am shotgun. We hold monthly tournaments, an annual Club Championship competition, and quarterly dinners. Membership application forms are available in the North Pro Shop. Annual dues are only $15.
