38 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | NOVEMBER 2021
At the end of September, the Photography Club finally held our
Meet and Greet. Returning and new photo friends attended. We had
a good mix of beginner, intermediate, and advanced photographers
who shoot with phones, iPads, and/or DSLR cameras.
We decided to begin designing programs to get to know how we
each see through the lens. The first project is to photograph the
pond area at the front of The Lodge which we will review at our next
meeting (time and place TBD). We are looking forward to sharing
our love of photography and inviting all interested in joining us.
The Club is continuing the twice-a-month Work Study Group
via Zoom meetings. These meetings cover planning future club
activities and photo editing in Adobe Photoshop and related
programs. In addition, anyone who has a photography question is
welcome to join us. Contact Jacque for meeting times and dates for
the Work-Study Group.
As we are once more beginning to travel, this month we look at
travel photos. This month's photos are fine examples of a wide range
of color usage to capture the essence of a place. Both of the photos
make a strong visual impact, one in black white and one in full color.
Everyone is invited to send us your photos for our section of the
Breeze. We look forward to seeing your photographs in the Breeze.
A special thanks to Jacque for organizing all our meetings. She
continues her role in scheduling meetings and keeping everyone
informed. Lyle Cameron is our Zoom Master. Howard Levine sets
up photo outings. I am writing these articles and selecting photos
for the Breeze.
