First, the 8-Ball Club wants to take a moment to remember two of our dear members who are no longer with us. Dewey Allen and Ray Windhorn, both of whom will be missed. Dewey, always the competitor with the ability to run the table at any time, and Ray, the great storyteller who always had a great story to tell from his time in Arabia. So long good friends, Dewey and Ray. We are holding two in-house tournaments each month, an 8-Ball tournament and a 9-Ball tournament. In the future (once it's safe to do so), we hope to again play four additional tournaments each month — two with Solera Hemet and two with Solera Oak Valley. Each community would travel here once each month and we would travel to their community once each month. They are great people, and we have a great time, win or lose, but we prefer the win. The club plays or practices Monday, Wednesday, and Friday nights 6:30 to 9 pm. Stop by and try us out. Just walk in and ask for Del or Larry. The 8-Ball Club is always looking for new, Four Seasons residents who would like to learn and play pool to join us. There is a calendar of our events in the Billiards Room on the 8-Ball Club bulletin board. Just stop by and check us out. If you have any questions about the 8-Ball Club, contact one of the officers: Captain Del Lyles, Sr. (951) 845-5114, Co-Captain Larry Rice (951) 236-1156. ~ Larry Rice 8-Ball Club Wild Bunch Billiards We are completely open and excited that we are back "live" in the Billiards Room. Thank you for adhering to the guidelines and making the Billiards Room a safe and healthy environment while we were getting back to near normalcy. The "Wild Bunch" consists of some of the best players in the league: Joe Spinella, Bob Rector, Mike Corbett, Carlos Rivera, LeRoy Wright, Rick Steckler, Scott Frymire, Dave Martin, and Gracy Luna. If you want to play serious, competitive pool, we invite you to come by the Billiards Room Friday afternoons from 12:30 to 3:30 pm and join in the stimulation of competitive play. We invite Sun Lakes and Solera to join us, and they bring their best game for some exciting competition. Looking forward to seeing you! ~ Gracy Luna, gracyluna@aol. com, (951) 292-3524 Larry and Natalie Zimmerman, and Dean And Eileen Downey at the Little Opry Theatre Golf cart hike at Table Rock Resort in Branson, Mo.
