The weather is cool and comfortable in November. It's a perfect time to enjoy the Four Seasons Canine Corral dog park with your best friend. The Canine Corral Puppy Playground equipment has arrived. We are all looking forward to seeing how our pets enjoy this deluxe addition to our unique private facility, only for qualified Four Seasons member dogs. Watch the Daily Report for an announcement of our Grand Opening. We are planning a human-only ribbon-cutting event to celebrate all of the generosity and hard work, and allow our residents the chance to tour the Corral and see what it is like inside. If your dog is fully vaccinated, licensed, spayed or neutered, and covered under your liability insurance, then you may consider completing a membership application for your special friend. Only $100 per dog for the first year of membership, which is less than the fee for your architectural review application! The renewal fee is only $30. Members receive a roster so they may contact the other members and set up play dates. The park is much more fun when there are other dogs there at the same time to run and chase and play with. We have a lot of dogs living here in Four Seasons, but not all of them are qualified to use this exclusive facility. At this time we have about 28 dogs using the Corral. We have room for more and we don't expect to ever be crowded. It will be a casual, relaxed, and safe experience, and a great way for the humans to visit and share dog stories. Public dog parks have no requirements for spay or neutering, current vaccinations, or city licensing, so you use those facilities at your own risk. The Four Seasons Canine Corral has strict requirements so you can feel confident bringing your best friend to play with other fully vaccinated, spayed and neutered, licensed dogs. Our Four Seasons Canine Corral was made possible by the generous donations of residents and local businesses. One special donation was a birthday surprise for resident Dale Beckes. The donation by Ken Marquet provided the shade structure in the Small Dog side. You can see a beautiful plaque next to that shade structure memorializing their little dog, Maggie, and Dale's 70th birthday. You can also see Honor Plaques mounted on the fencing and the benches and read the dedications as you walk by. Honor Plaques are still available for a donation of $200, $350, or $500. Order yours from Teri DiMarino by emailing teridimarino@gmail.com and she will assist you with the design and placement. Thank you for making this fabulous facility possible. ~ Sandra Butler-Roberts, sandirae@ icloud.com 28 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | NOVEMBER 2021 Canine Corral Council The puppy playground has arrived!
