In September, RV Club members traveled to
Buellton, CA, for a trip called "The Days of Wine
and Windmills." Here are some of the highlights:
explore Solvang, lunch and wine tour of Santa
Ynez Valley, Santa Barbara Food Walk, and a tour
of Mendenhall's Museum of Gasoline Pumps and
Petroliana followed by a catered barbeque. Wagon
Masters were Bob and Kathi Harper, Steve and
Lisa Broadway, and WOW Coordinators were Jim
and Bev Gillian. Thank you to all the organizers
for a very enjoyable trip.
At the end of September, the RV Club had
a party at the RV storage lot. Tatis Cervantes-
Aiken and her team put together a fun afternoon
that included live music by the Bucket Ruckus,
dancing, and a catered dinner from Nucci's
Italian Cafe. It was a fun event. Thank you to all
the Social Committee volunteers who made this
possible.
Since it is November, it's time for the annual
Thanksgiving Trip. This year will be held at Costa
Vista RV Resort in Chula Vista from Nov. 15-19.
Should you have any questions about this trip or
any upcoming trips and events, please visit the
RV Club website and read the current issue of The
Open Road.
The next general membership meeting is
scheduled for Nov. 23 starting at 6:30 pm in
Abravanel Hall.
