CPS is pleased to report that Nov. 20 from 9 am to 12 pm is the
date set for the Shred Event. It will be located at the turnaround on
Cannon Road. Historically there has been considerable community
participation, so please arrive early.
Residents DO NOT need to show proof of residency; however, you
must have an OHCC Decal on your vehicle windshield.
Please adhere to the following guidelines;
• All items will be disposed of in front of each homeowner/
resident.
• Acceptable materials include paper, cardboard, mylar, vellum,
floppy disks, video and audio cassettes, CD-ROMs, DVDs,
microfilm and microfiche.
• Staples, paperclips, comb-binding, plastic snap-binds, and
plastic spiral binds are accepted by the system.
Items Not Destroyed At On-Site Event
• computer hard drives
• magnetic back-up tapes
• printer back-up spools
Please ensure your contact information is up-to-date in Dwelling
Live. In order for CPS to better assist residents it is imperative that
your contact phone numbers are current. This allows CPS officers
the ability to contact you regarding an emergency, welfare checks and
