Once again this year we are making plans to support the U.S. VETS Inland Empire Veterans Village, located at March Air Reserve Base in Riverside. U.S. VETS is the nation's largest nonprofit provider of comprehensive services to homeless and at-risk Veterans, EIN 95- 4382752. Their mission is "The successful transition of military Veterans and their families through the provision of housing, counseling, career development and comprehensive support." Veterans Village currently has 18 children ranging in ages from two to 17 years of age and we thank the Soboba Foundation for donating gifts to them. Veterans Village houses 198 adults in efficiency, one bedroom, and two bedroom units, as well as an older barracks for single men. Everyday items are needed… see lists below. We are collecting items at The Lodge. No food items or used clothing, please! Place donations in the red box in the lobby. Gift cards should be left at The Lodge front desk. If you have larger items, please contact Jackie Peterson at (951) 926-0152 or Quinn Hawley at (951) 325-2600 and they will pick them up from you.
