Recreation Department | LIFE IN SOLERA | NOVEMBER 2021 | 15 Mon., Dec. 6 beginning at 5 pm. Solera residents are invited to enter the Holiday Decorating Contest sponsored by the HOA. Categories include: • Ugly Sweater Contest: excessive use of outdoor lighting and decorations • Hollywood Christmas: use of theme and fictional characters • Winter Wonderland: chilliest displays of white lights and icicles • Jingle all the Way: use of music and animation • Santa's Workshop: jolliest use of display animation Winners will receive a yard sign to display and $100 gift certificate. Applications will be available at the administration office from Mon., Nov. 15 through Fri., Dec. 3. Sun., Nov. 28, 5 pm in the Clubhouse. Join us as we celebrate the beginning of Hanukkah and the lighting of the Menorah. Learn the story of Hanukkah and the Jewish people around the world celebrate the Festival of Lights. Free snacks and hot cider. Bring a plate of your favorite tradition to share with your family, friends, and neighbors. This is an HOA sponsored event, free to all residents and their invited guests. Hanukkah Celebration Home Holiday Decorating Contest Old Fashion Pancake Breakfast Save the date! Sat., Jan 29, 8:30 to 10:30 am in the Clubhouse. $5 per person. Tickets go on sale Mon., Jan. 10 and will go fast - you will have only three weeks to get your tickets. Open to all residents and their guests. Give your kitchen a break and join us and your neighbors for a hearty breakfast of pancakes, sausages, blueberries, orange juice, milk, and coffee/tea. This is an OHA RAAC sponsored event. CDC and PH guidelines will be followed.
