Family gatherings and club parties often present an array of tasty temptations that can be difficult to resist. This year can be different and enjoyable at the same time! With TOPS, all foods fit, including desserts. Losing weight and getting healthy doesn't have to doom anyone to a life of deprivation, and it's OK to have some special treats during the holidays. You're more likely to keep up healthy changes over the long haul if you plan for food you love. The key, whether you're watching your weight or keeping an eye on carbs, is to watch portion sizes and use healthier ingredients. Studies have shown that eating breakfast curbs the urge to binge later in the day. TOPS is here to provide the support that members need during the holidays and throughout the year. Sun Lakes residents are welcome to attend their first TOPS meeting free of charge. We meet on Thursday at the South Clubhouse with weigh-ins from 9 to 9:50 am and meeting from 10 to 11 am. TOPS is affordable, only $32 a year plus $3 monthly chapter dues. This gives you six TOPS magazines a year and access to our TOPS members-only website. Come join us! We would like to welcome all of our new TOPS members. We are here to encourage and support you on your weight-loss journey.
