(1947) James Stewart, Donna Reed, Lionel Barrymore, Henry Travers. George Bailey has so many problems he is thinking about ending it all - and it's Christmas! As the angels discuss George, we see his life in flashback. As George is about to jump from a bridge, he ends up rescuing his guardian angel, Clarence - who then shows George what his town would have looked like if it hadn't been for all his good deeds over the years. THE COMEBACK TRAIL Wed., Dec. 29, 6:30 pm. (2020) Robert DeNiro, Morgan Freeman, Tommy Lee Jones, Zach Braff. Two movie producers who owe money to the mob set up their aging movie star for an insurance scam to try and save themselves. But they wind up getting more than they ever imagined. UPCOMING EVENTS IN 2022 The Murrieta Mesa High School Drama Company will be proud to present the following classics: Saturday, Feb. 5, 2 pm: Anne Frank and Me. This play centers on the historical life of Anne Frank. Saturday, Mar. 5, 7 pm: West Side Story (the Broadway Musical). This popular play features the love of a young couple in opposing cultures. Tickets for these two special Senior Citizen Appreciation showings are only $2 (cash only, please), and I have a limited number of them. Come to the Activities Office to pick up yours.
