First and foremost, we wish to thank the residents who supported us by attending our October production. We hope you enjoyed yourselves! A big round of applause is due to the hard-working cast and crew! These talented folks make things happen. We are now working to bring to you another fine production in May. Yes, we work all year-round. We have some ideas on our agenda for another entertaining performance. We are always a work in progress and enjoy what we do. It's hard to believe that it's that time of year again! I hope you all enjoy the festivities of the season and that the New Year will bring health and happiness to our community! The Actors Studio is excited to be presenting a "Performance of Comedy Skits" tentatively on Saturday, Feb. 5 and Sunday, Feb. 6 at 7 pm. Ticket sales information will be in the January 2022 issue of The Colony News. In the meantime, we are in rehearsals now and have been since the first of November and are excited about the four comedy skits that were chosen by our group. Think laughter, fun and a little silly! What a great way to bring in 2022! Have a fun, safe holiday and, as a reminder, we welcome anyone who is interested in joining our group, whether as an actor or for a behind-the-scenes position. We play, we sing and we laugh a lot. No need to read music and we don't care about how well or badly you sing. Our music ranges from old time folk tunes to pop and rock and roll. One of our members will be bringing his accordion and we also have banjolele players. Come and check us out and sing along with us. We have a hootenanny good time!
