CLUB NEWS | THE COLONY NEWS | DECEMBER 2021 | 39 As we started November, Hott Shotzz were in first place, one- half game ahead of New Pins on the Block. Hot Shotzz team members are Olivia Perez, Frank Hattabaugh and Steve Austin. They have only three members and still are in first place – nice bowling! So far, as of Nov. 4, Jamie Calvert (157) and Hank Fleischer (179) are the top average bowlers. Our current leaders in the major categories are Sam Hitchcock, 226 HGS game; Bob Senenfelder, 612 HSS series; Frank Hattabaugh, 261 HHdcp game; and Bob Senenfelder, 720 Hhdcp series. On the women's side, we have Norris Day, 201 HSG game; Carol Hitchcock, 497 HSS series; Norris Day, 269 HHdcp game; and Carol Hitchcock, 707 HSHdcp Series. Bonnie Graham and her Karaoke singers entertained all of us at our monthly dinner in the Auditorium. We had turkey and all the Thanksgiving fixings. Thank you, Bonnie, for setting up the entertainment, which was terrific! All 51 of our members want to wish each and every one of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Bowling By Hank Fleischer, 714-272-3684 Would you like to meet some new people and have fun at the same time? People of all ages and persuasions are welcome to come play Bocce strictly for fun and socialization every Thursday from 2:30 to 4:30 pm starting Dec. 2. Teams will be determined each Thursday so everyone can meet and play with old and new friends. You may bring a snack and/or a beverage of your choice (water will be provided). ANNUAL BRIDGE CHRISTMAS PARTY The members of The Colony Bridge Club (Monday Duplicate, Tuesday Duplicate and Thursday Party bridge) and their guests are invited to our Annual Christmas Party and duplicate bridge game on Monday, Dec. 20, at 12 pm. The dinner and bridge are free for members, but the cost for guests will be $15. Following bridge, a cocktail party will start the festivities at around 4:15 pm. Awards will be presented to our bridge volunteers and door prizes will be given out during the cocktail hour. Dinner will be served at about 5:15 pm. The Monday, Tuesday and Thursday games will have sign-up sheets for both the dinner and bridge game. Reservations must be in by Friday, Dec. 10. If you have any questions, please give me a call.
