FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | DECEMBER 2021 65 The Four Seasons Motorcycle Club (MC) recently returned from the annual two-day ride to Jacumba (it's a very small town along the Mexican border about 80 miles east of San Diego). Our route on the first day took us to Pine Valley via Julian which, for the most part, is a very beautiful winding mountain route. Lots of fun on a motorcycle. The route home took us east to Ocotillo then we worked our way into Borrego Springs then to Temecula and home. Four riders made this year's trip: Terry Humble, Scott Snyder, Joe Bert and Jim Ayala. Throughout the ride, I couldn't help but recognize how well we ride together. We have come to know each other's riding habits so well from going on countless rides together resulting in very relaxing and hassle-free safe rides. I guess that's just one of the benefits of being part of a motorcycle club. Speaking of multi-day rides, our next multi-day riding adventure will happen this coming May when we will be heading out for a five day ride to the Grand Canyon. At this time we have five members committed to this ride (Terry Humble, Jim Ayala, Scott Snyder, Joe Bert and Tim Mixon). Also, Rick Brower will be joining us on this ride and he tells us that he may be inviting some friends to join us. Rick is a founding member of the Four Seasons MC. He recently moved to Henderson, Nev., so it will be nice to have him along on the ride. By the way, the Four Seasons MC isn't just about going on multi-day rides. If you are thinking about joining the Four Seasons MC, just know that we also go on weekly day rides. Weather permitting, we try to head out every Thursday for a group ride. We depart promptly at 9 am from The Lodge parking lot and the routes vary each week. These rides are generally 100 to 200 miles in length so we find ourselves back home by mid-afternoon. The MC also meets monthly at The Lodge on the first Wednesday of the month at 6 pm. The agenda usually includes planning for our multi-day rides as well as talking about destinations for the month's weekly rides. Scott Snyder is the club's safety officer. The agenda always includes a short presentation from Scott on motorcycle riding safety related issues. Scott has lots of years of riding experience, so we appreciate his expertise on tips for safe riding. Thanks Scott! If you would like to know more about the Four Seasons MC, feel free to call Club President Terry Humble (909-706-2298) or Club VP Jim Ayala (951-392-6259) or Club Secretary Joe Bert (909-767-1484). ~ Jim Ayala Motorcycle Club Taking a break on the way to Jacumba.
