| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | DECEMBER 2021 | 19 Golf Cart Club I hope that you had a chance to enjoy, either as a participant or a spectator, in the Halloween Golf Cart Parade. The decorations and costumes were great. It was nice to enjoy a beautiful night. We had a route snafu that I am fixing; sorry that we missed the Horseshoe units. Now that Halloween is behind us and Thanksgiving and Christmas are just around the corner, I want to remind you that the Holiday Golf Cart Parade is coming up… scary huh? The Parade will take place Dec. 11 with line up beginning at 5 pm and the parade starting at 5:30 pm. The times will allow everyone to enjoy the Village Voices' presentation. So, decorate those carts in a holiday motif and come join us as we celebrate the holidays. Flags went up for Veterans Day for every home, and we plan to put them out along Four Seasons and World Cup for Pearl Harbor Day. Glenn Uhley has volunteered to be a Flag Angel and jumped right into helping for Veterans Day. Debbie and Larry Foster have taken a permanent route over for Rick and Linda Adkins who have had to step down. Thanks Larry and Debbie! I continue to need volunteers for Flag Angels. If you can help, it would be very much appreciated. If you want to become a Flag Angel or have any comments/suggestions or want to join the Golf Cart Club, give me a call or an email: Mike McLaughlin at (951) 973-4149 (cell) or (951) 325-8757 (home) or mikemcla43@aol.com. Book Club All readers interested in great discussions, occasional guest speakers, and movies, join us the third Monday of every month starting in January. Our book for December is Winter Garden by Kristin Hannah. We will meet on Dec. 13 at my house 669 Weir Drive at 2 pm. Hope to see all of you. Any questions, contact Vicki Allen-Hitt at (951)926-6336 or vhitt@hotmail.com. TGIF/Karaoke Mark your calendars for Dec. 3. It has been a fantastic two months of TGIF/Karaoke. Keep on coming for more fun and great food. Please note that we have been asked to not rinse our plates or dishes in the bathrooms. Bring a trash bag with you and put your dirty dishes in it to take home. Also, the Ballroom carpet has just been cleaned so we need to be careful of spills. Remember, if you are new to Four Seasons, this is a great way to meet your neighbors. Bring a song and sign up for Karaoke when you come at 5 pm. Everyone is a star! Bring a dish to share with eight to 10, your own utensils, dishes and beverage of your choice. We will have hot water, instant coffee, tea and ice. Tickets for the raffle are two for $1. We always have great prizes. 5 to 5:30 pm – Social 5:30 to 6:30 pm – Dinner 6:30 to 6:45 pm – Raffle 6:45 to 8:45 pm – KARAOKE New residents get to go to the buffet first and also anyone with a birthday or anniversary!
