Sy Singer will continue as Director and Phyllis Skall as Partnership chair. We play on Tuesdays at 6 pm in the Mykonos Room. Intermediate level players are encouraged to join. If you need a partner, please contact Phyllis Skall by email pskall13@yahoo.com or call or text (858) 405-2684 well in advance. Table fees will remain $2. Proceeds will be distributed to the winning pairs. Congratulations to the top winners for the month of November. 11/09/21 Mitchell Andy Boyer / Janice Boyer N/S Susie Anson / Kannan Dan E/W 11/16/21 Howell Andy Boyer / Janice Boyer 11/23/21 Howell Casey Shoenhard / Andy Boyer 11/30/21 Mitchell Benno Rayhrer / Gisela Rayhrer N/S Susie Anson / Kannan Dan E/W Highest score 67.98% Susie Anson / Kannan Dan We offer a Duplicate Bridge game that combines the superior scoring of Duplicate Bridge, but also has the friendlier and non- aggressive attitude of home style Rubber Bridge. With Duplicate Bridge, your true opponents are the pairs that hold the same cards as you would, rather than your opponents at the table. We are not an ACBL game and for that, we not only offer an extremely reasonable game price of just $2, but also give cash awards to the winners. If you are interested, please call John Gates at (760) 295-5885, the president of this bridge club, to see if this type of game might meet your expectations. We are relatively small and have anywhere from five to eight tables. The games are at 1 pm on the second, fourth, and fifth Fridays of the month in the Hall. If you are planning on playing you will be responsible for finding a partner, and to let me know no later than early Thursday afternoon prior to the Friday game date. It is also assumed that you know the basics of Standard American Bridge, this is not a bridge training course but a tournament. You do not have to join this club to play your first game; however, if you decide to join, the annual dues are $6.
