46 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JANUARY 2022 Travel Group The January Travel Group meeting will be on Saturday, Jan. 15 from 10 am to noon in The Lodge. Please mark your calendars. The main focus of the meeting will be to plan our trips for 2022. We will also have a meet and greet session. All Four Seasons residents are welcome to attend the Travel Group meetings. Come meet current members, share travel tips, get ideas for great getaways, and have fun. As you know, travel conditions are rapidly changing. The current concern is the COVID Omicron variant. Two important websites to have on hand and to utilize as a first step in planning any trip are as follows: The travel page of the CDC website provides updated information on state, local, tribal, and territorial government restrictions. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/index. html The State Department website provides current information on conditions in and requirements for visiting foreign countries. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/traveladv isories/ traveladvisories.html/ If any resident wants to be added to the membership list or a current member needs to change their contact information, please send an email to Sharon Bond at sjbond2013@gmail.com. In the body of the email, please provide your name and telephone number. For any other information, call or text Irene Welker at (951) 275-7081 or send an email to irenewelker55@gmail.com. Stay safe and healthy. ~ Irene Welker Seasoned Solos We had another fun month of adventures for the Seasoned Solos. It began with an Oak Glen craft show where there were lots of handmade goodies. We celebrated birthdays at Woody's BBQ in Grand Terrace. The food was very tasty and the birthday ladies received party hats made by the restaurant staff. On our outing to Claremont, we attended a beautiful performance by the Pomona College Symphony at Little Bridges Hall. What a charming venue with the woodwork and carved ceiling. Prior to the performance we had a delicious lunch at Bardot's in the Village. It was a wonderful day and everyone enjoyed themselves. We ended the month with Miracle on 34th Street at the LifeHouse Theater in Redlands and had a yummy dinner at a nearby restaurant afterwards. The Seasoned Solos is a group for single men and women who want to get out with friends, old and new. Spending time on an outing with the group is something we all look forward to and we hope you can join us! We meet the first Friday of the month in The Lodge Arts & Crafts Room at 6 pm. Please let us know if you have any questions or suggestions for a trip by reaching out to Joyce Olson at (951) 850-3055 or Nyla Cheely at (951) 285-7112. ~ Nyla Cheely Birthday girls Phyllis Kates and Joyce Bermester The group's outing to the LifeHouse Theater Our Savior's Lutheran — ELCA In-Person Sunday Worship 9 am Also Zoom and Facebook Live 1320 W.
