We had our 2021 Chanukah Extravaganza on Dec. 7. The event was a
smashing success, with over 150 people in attendance. The evening featured
a dinner of delicious homemade soups hand crafted by our Soup Mavens
(experts). It also had a Fiddler On The Roof group karaoke sing along, led by
the JCC Players. The Master of Ceremonies for the event was Perry Goldstein.
Perry explained the Jewish cultural background of the Broadway play and the
songs. He was also very funny, as he always is. The party culminated with the
traditional Hora Circle.
Thank you to the Soup Mavens Sandi Barletta, Sheila Marshall, Kathy
Craven, Tammy Goldstein, Karen Kramer, Anita Finklestein, Barbara Dipoma,
Brenda Steckler, Fran Monahan, Lora Lopez, Sue Sharp, Toni Finer, Carrie
Margolin, and Tsilya Hoffman.
A very special thanks to Dave Rohrbacker for his assistance with the karaoke.
We thank everyone who attended our Chanukah Extravaganza, and look
forward to next year.
As always, we remind the community that the JCC events are open to
everyone, you don't have to be Jewish. ~ Perry Goldstein, perry.goldstein@
