64 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JANUARY 2022
Our run took us to the Dale Mining District for our November
outing. We had 11 rigs, Jeeps, Toyotas and an F150 join us. Dale
Mining is off of Gold Crown Road near 29 Palms. We explored old
mines, we played in the hills and sand in our 4 x 4 rigs. A great time
was had by all.
If this sounds like fun, please come check us out. Our meetings
are the second Tuesday and our day runs are the second Thursday of
each month. We meet in the RCN Building at 6:30 pm.

4x4 Seasons
Fishing Club
We went fishing at Diamond Valley Lake on Nov. 10. There were
five of us who went out on a pontoon boat. They had just stocked the
lake with 4,000 pounds of trout. As we left the launch ramp we could
see the trout in the water. We all knew we would catch a bunch of fish.
As we started fishing, we had high hopes of some nice trout for
dinner. We threw our lines in and knew it was going to be an epic
fishing trip. After five hours of fishing, none of us got a bite. A couple
of guys caught a couple of tiny bass that we threw back. We were all
disappointed to say the least.
I did not put a picture in this article because we did not catch any
fish to photograph. When we find a lake where we can catch fish then
I will include a picture of all the fish we catch. Once again, we will
have high hopes of catching fish.
Tight lines to all of you and remember if you don't catch fish you
can always go to the fish market and buy some fish. ~ Richard
