All Seasons RV Happy New Year to all! At the November meeting, all eyes were on Larry Zimmerman as a discussion of nominations for officers was underway (photos at right. We recently welcomed three new members to the club. We look forward to making many trips with them in the coming months. It is going to be a fun-filled year for our RV Club with several camp- outs already booked. Our next trip is to Quartzite, Ariz. at the end of January. This is an annual event for most of us. It is a large RV show, with vendors of all types anxious to sell the latest and greatest products for RVs. Our club is always happy to welcome interested parties to join us at our monthly meetings. We meet the fourth Thursday of each month at 6:30 pm in The Lodge. On a personal note, this is my last article for the Breeze. My tenure as scribe is up and will be turned over to another club member. I would like to thank the Breeze editors, and in particular Courtney, for their patience with this computer-challenged senior citizen. ~ Ann Williams, annwilymz@yahoo.com 60 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JANUARY 2022 The Four Season 8-Ball Club is in full swing again holding its two in-house tournaments monthly. We do skip some with the holidays. We normally hold an 8-Ball tournament and a 9-Ball tournament each month. In the future (once it is safe to do so), we hope to again play four additional tournaments each month, two with Hemet (Solera) and two Beaumont (Solera). Groups from each community travel to Four Seasons once a month and we travel to their communities once each month. We have a great time no matter the outcome. Maybe in the new year we can start the traditional match ups once again. The 8-Ball Club would like to give a big shout out to its newest member Jim Kelley. Jim is definitely not new to the game and brings a lot of talent to the club. A big WELCOME to Jim Kelley. November saw the 8-Ball club holding only one of its two in-house tournaments. The 8-ball tournament had 7 players competing. Larry Rice went undefeated winning the final match against Leo Babin. Since Leo stepped up his game, he seems to be right there until the end a lot more often. Congratulations to Larry Rice, this month's 8-Ball champion and to Leo Babin, runner up. The 8-Ball Club plays or practices Monday, Wednesday, and Friday nights 6:30 until 9 pm. Whether you're new to the game or have played before, don't be shy — stop by, pick up a stick, and give us a try. Walk in and ask for Del, Larry, or any of the members playing. The 8-Ball Club is always looking for new members who would like to learn and play pool to join us. There is a calendar of our events in the Billiards Room on the 8-Ball Club bulletin board. If you have any questions about the 8-Ball Club, contact one of the officers: Captain Del Lyles, Sr. at (951) 845-5114, or Co-Captain Larry Rice at (951) 236-1156. If there is no answer, leave a message and one of us will get back to you. ~ Larry Rice 8-Ball Club
