Bocce Club
Ladies Putters
Happy New Year to all our Bocce Ball players. It's 2022 but 2021
was our best year we've had since I've been playing. Excellent
turnouts on both Tuesdays and Fridays. Combination of good
weather and a group of new players has made it the most fun yet.
Almost to the point of us needing a new court.
Bocce Ball is played at The Summit on two green courts
overlooking the surrounding valley with beautiful views. We play
Tuesday at 9 am and Friday at 9 am.
Hopefully we'll see you out there having some fun throwing
the Bocce ball around. If you are interested in learning the
game, please join us. Any questions, please call me, Hank
Negrete, at (909) 747-7087. ~ Hank Negrete, (909) 747-7987,

After starting the Ladies Putters Group in 2017, I will miss so
many of my friends made over these years of putting! Some of the
original members shown in the group picture (below left) put in
hours of work creating putting plays for the five-hole green, gathering
donated putters, making scoring rules, planning Fun Days and Guest
Days, and beyond!
Ladies new to putting were welcomed by old members who helped
them along the way.
The Putters soon outgrew the 5-hole green so the green was
expanded to a 9-hole putting course which is so much more
challenging and on which play is ongoing. The Putters will continue
to enjoy the benefits of fresh air and light exercise that putting gives
them but I hope they continue to have fun making friends and
belonging to a very special group of ladies. ~ Retiring President,
