This support group, presented by Kristi Necochea, is designed to help educate and support those who are caring for a loved one with a dementia diagnosis. We meet the second Thursday of each month. Well, come to the Meeting Room the second Wednesday of each month and we will help! There is no cost to attend, and no RSVP is required. Rushmore Sept. 18-25 - St. Louis, Branson, Memphis, Nashville Multi-Day Excursions The Colony is now offering multi-day tours and cruises, which include airfare, transfers and pick up right from The Colony parking lot. LAUGHLIN BUS TRIP – AQUARIUS RESORT CASINO Tuesday to Thursday, Feb. 22 to 24. You definitely won't want to miss our annual bus trip to Laughlin! You will enjoy games and a movie on the bus, two nights at the Aquarius Hotel and Casino (the Riverside Hotel is no longer accepting groups). We will leave at 9 am on Tuesday and return at approximately 6 pm on Thursday. Rates are $170 per person, and I am taking reservations now. I must have 38 confirmed reservations, so please give me a call if you have any questions. Bus Trips LIGHTSCAPE AT THE LA ARBORETUM Sunday, Jan. 16, 3 pm. Lightscape is an internationally acclaimed extravaganza of light, art and music from London that transforms the L.A. Arboretum into an illuminated night experience that is not to be missed! Wander through the magnificent Winter Cathedral, view the mesmerizing water fountains, experience the breathtaking Fire Garden and more. Lightscape makes its West Coast debut at the Arboretum, transforming the garden into a night of wonder and light for an unforgettable event. The exhibition route is a little over a mile long and is wheelchair accessible. The gentle trail has scattered benches available for resting and has multiple locations to purchase food and drink. This trip includes dinner and dessert at the Old Spaghetti Factory, entrance to the event, deluxe transportation and gratuity. The cost is $125 per person. The bus will depart at 3 pm and return at 9:30 pm.
