Late Bloomers were not so late in ringing out 2021 and ringing in 2022! Our last trip of the year to Palm Desert's Living Desert & Wild Lights did not disappoint, and our calendar for 2022 promises to be in full bloom! If you have some time stop in and visit with us in the Craft Room every second Monday at 1 pm. We'd love to meet you and exchange gardening tips. Happy New Year to all of our friends and neighbors within our wonderful community. May this be a year filled with the plantings of new ideas, the cultivating of new friendships, and the harvest of bountiful blessings. Late Bloomers meets every second Monday at 1 pm in the Arts & Crafts Room. All residents are welcome to attend meetings and trips. For more information, please contact Sharon Deuber at (760) 500-0077 or Sharon@BlackDiamondInvestments.net. 16 16 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | JANUARY 2022 | | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | JANUARY 2022 | Our final meeting for 2021 was Nov. 22. The new officers were formally introduced: President, Debbie Foster; Vice President, Monica Scholl; Treasurer, Lynne Arias; Secretary, Caroline Ashford; Newsletter, Cookie Scott; Cheerleader, Patsy Racine. Congratulations. An announcement was made that the yearly dues for 2022 will be $20. This minor increase will help make our meetings continue to be fun and eventful as well as supplement our philanthropic efforts. As her final hurrah, Lucille Gould planned a fun, (and often frustrating), game for our meeting. It was played with oversized foam dice and several gifts to be won depending on what the dice said. You might end up with all of the gifts only to lose them all and back again until the timer went off. Thanks to Lucille for providing the gifts and the fun! A decorations committee for our Christmas Luncheon was formed. The Ballroom is sure to be bright and festive. The luncheon is Dec. 7. Francisco will be providing the food. As is our custom, the FSLC will be donating an end of year cash gift of $200 to the Hemet Valley Restart Program. Thank you to the entire club for making this possible. Look forward to a trip to Moller's Gardens & Gifts in Palm Desert with lunch to follow on Jan. 18. We will meet in front of The Lodge and car pool to the location. For more details, contact Debbie Foster at (805) 406-6581. We invite all of the women of Four Seasons to join us. We meet every fourth Monday at 2 pm in the Ballroom. Please bring your creative ideas. For more information, contact Debbie Foster at (805) 406-6581. As 2021 ends, I think we can all agree that it has been a "Mad Hatter's Ride" of a year. We let out a sad sigh for those we have lost and take in a deep hopeful breath for the New Year. FS Ladies Club Late Bloomers Garden Club Happy New Year
