| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | JANUARY 2022 | 23
Happy 2022! Seasons Quilters is ringing in the new
year in quilting style, continuing with piecing together
the BoHo Heart pattern by Jen Kingwell and Andrea
Bair. For many the celebration of a new year is a fresh
start toward accomplishment, the setting of new goals,
and learning. For others it is a time of deep reflection,
remembering with fondness our journey through life.
Every January is also host month to Road to
California, with this year's schedule, Jan. 19 – 22,
2022. Rd2CA is the largest Quilters Conference &
Showcase in the western United States. Every year
vendors, instructors, designers, and International
companies prepare for this annual event, held at the
Ontario Convention Center. Scheduling of a possible
group excursion will be coordinated through Seasons
Quilters, or you can attend as individuals. Registration
and ticket purchases are encouraged on-line prior to
arriving. Regarding attendance, peruse their website
carefully as COVID restrictions/requirements are
randomly updated.

Our Club continues to grow, and with it, strong
ties of friendship are stitching their way into our
hearts. Quilters approach to our craft is as diverse
as the quilts themselves. Far more than a hobby,
quilting is an addictive passion that satisfies
like no other, once discovered. Lost within
the colorful folds of fabric and unlimited
imagination of designs, the creative
atmosphere one inspires is both exhilarating
and soothing, melting away the cares of the
world. One might say, "Once in 'the Zone' it
is truly therapeutic!"
Seasons Quilters meets every first and
third Thursday in the Aerobics Room
from 12 noon to 4 pm.
All Four Seasons residents are
welcome to meetings and excursions.
