Like all Boards that rely on the volunteers, it takes whatever time you
are willing to give. Our Board will meet once or twice a month for Open
Session Board meetings. We also meet in Executive session each month to
discuss legal issues, contracts, disciplinary issues, payment plans, liens and
foreclosures. Our Board Members also serve as liaisons to our Advisory
and Standing Committees and attend their meetings and they bring back
information and requests from the Committee. We have four Advisory
Committees including RAAC (Recreation Activities Advisory Committee),
Welcome Committee, CALAC (Common Area Landscape Advisory
Committee), and CTAC (Communication and Technology Advisory
Committee) and three standing Committees including Finance, Nominating,
and Design Review Committee. Serving on a Committee is a good way to
get your feet wet while learning about how the Board functions and issues
facing our community. Our General Manager, Loni Peterson, is responsible
for the day-to-day operations of our Association.
