Welcome to 2022! We hope that everyone had a wonderful holiday and are ready for the new year. 2021 was a busy year
for our Association. Our contractor finished the Oakmont Remodel and completed many upgrades in other areas of the
Clubhouse and the Mail Room. We want to begin the new year with a Town Hall Meeting on Jan. 12 to hear from residents
on ideas they would like to see happen at Solera. After we collect these ideas, the Board will meet in an Open Session
meeting on Jan. 26 to do strategic planning for the coming year. The Board will take residents' ideas and other areas of
importance into consideration for our community as we develop this plan.
The Board will have two open positions on the Board of Directors for the 2022-24 election on May 18. The Board's
primary objective is to preserve and enhance home values in our community. In addition, Directors are tasked with
maintaining the Community's common areas and maintaining and replacing commonly owned components such as
gates, landscape, roads and paint when needed. Solera is set up as a nonprofit corporation and Directors must manage
the operations of the Corporation in accordance with local, state, and federal laws. In California, the primary bodies of
law governing HOAs are the California Corporations Code and the Davis–Stirling Act. If you are interested in serving on
the Board, applications will soon be on our Solera website and available in the Clubhouse. This is a great opportunity to
serve in our community. ~ Happy New Year from the Board of Directors
