| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | JANUARY 2022 | 27 Sun Lakes Follies Last month the membership of the Sun Lakes Follies held their last meeting for 2021. Elections were held and the membership had a "vote of confidence" for the out-going Board members and re-elected them again for the 2022 up-coming year. President, Joanne Graham; Vice-President/Membership, Olga Marquette; Secretary, Penny Skog; Treasurer, Lloyd Friedman; Directors, Sandy Etz and Jeann Svarvar. President Joanne Graham stated she was very happy presenting the 2021 Sun Lakes Follies. "Being the first show to be performed in Sun Lakes, coming out of the pandemic year, was quite a feat. But, we were able to do what we did on a shoestring budget and came out ahead. Looking forward to 2022!" Our meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month. We invite all to attend. Sheet music and learning materials are furnished to help even the novice enjoy the experience. You can sing in this men's chorus or enjoy a quartet experience with three other guys. By popular demand, Makua Hula Hawaiian Dancers of Sun Lakes will be presenting a one-day-only show on Sun., May 22 at 2 pm in the Main Clubhouse Ballroom. Perla Williams, and the Makua Hula Hawaiian Dancers, will be presenting "More Aloha From The Islands" with singers, comedy acts and featuring "Special Guest Performers." More information to come.
