The February General Meeting of
the Art League will be held on Sun., Feb. 13 at 2
pm in the South Clubhouse.
Bhadraji "Bud" Jayatilaka will present a
watercolor demonstration at the conclusion
of the business meeting. Jayatilaka will also be
teaching watercolor classes on March 7, 14, and
21 from 9 am until noon in the Arts & Crafts
Room of the Main Clubhouse.
Celebrated artist, David Fairrington was the
featured artist at the January meeting and will be
teaching classes on Sundays, Feb. 6, 20, and 27.
The classes will be held in the Main Clubhouse
Arts & Crafts Room from 1 to 3 pm. If you
haven't signed up, it's not too late.
Classes are $30 for members and $35 for non-

Not a member of the Art League? Membership is only $20 per
person per calendar year. Membership applications are available
in the information rack next to the
receptionist's desk in the Main Clubhouse.

or brought to the General Meeting.
The Art League is not just about painting.
We have many talented people who also
create many different types of beautiful
art that includes drawings, china and
porcelain painting, pottery, photography,
wood sculpture, fused glass, jewelry, and
fabric art. In addition to the numerous art
classes throughout the year, the Art League
will be sponsoring other exciting events
such as an Art Walk, a spring potluck, and
participating in the annual Sun Lakes'
Fourth of July Parade. We invite you to
come to a general meeting to find out more
about this creative group of people. You
