Happy Campers RV Club
We held our monthly meeting on Jan. 8, followed by a goodbye
potluck in honor of longtime members Johnny and Sheila Masce.
We are hoping to have new graphics and flags made available to
all members who wish to display them. Russ has done a great job in
designing these.
We currently have at least 20 rigs signed up for Pismo Sept. 19-26,
2022. This is always a great trip. This year's Trail Bosses are Ray and
Doreen Croteau.
A group of us headed to Quartzsite Jan. 27-31 and we will share
more stories and pictures from there next month.
We look forward to planning trips this year to Borrego Springs,
Tucalota Springs, Emerald Cove, and possibly Zion, Bryce and the
Grand Canyon.
Come and join all the adventures 2022 has to offer.
As always, stay safe and happy camping!
We are starting a new picture series, "Camping with your Pet," so
send all pictures of your pets to Happycampers411@yahoo.com.
Needle Me
Our first meeting of the year was definitely an indication of just how diverse
our group is. Pictured at left are a few of our members, each working on a
different needle craft. From left to right, Sandi Speirs is doing applique,
Margene Taylor is crocheting, Merilyn Burnside is knitting, Lilian Togo is
working on a sashiko project and Celine McCann (standing) is doing plastic
canvas needlepoint.
If you're interested in any type of needle craft, come share your talents
with us or learn something new. We meet on the first and fourth Friday of
each month in the Arts & Crafts Room at 1 pm. If you have any questions or
would like more information, please contact Bobbie Davis at (951) 223-3836
or Merilyn Burnside at (951) 658-8310.
