| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | FEBRUARY 2022 | 25 This photo captures our yearly tribute to Christmas as we don our pajamas for SASY class. Great fun. Our Bistro server, Sonja, joined us. Many thanks to her for the excellent service she provides. We greet 2022 with confidence that it will be a "better ride" than 2021. The SASY program is strength training only. There are 12 exercises to tone legs, arms, and torso. Class time is one-half hour. SASY is full of noise, laughter, and a wonderful view of special friendships. So, if you like a break from the usual, just come and enjoy the fun. This class is free. We meet in The Lodge Ballroom at 8:30 am every Tuesday and Thursday. If you have questions regarding this class, please call Jeanne Lincoln (765-7112) or Char Weakley (926-2599). Strong Adults Stay Young (SASY) Last month's article about Bocce was my introduction to inform you that the Club is well and ready to begin a new season. It informed our residents that this is a Sunday activity so that working folks have an opportunity to also participate in a fun and widely played game all over the world. What I did not give you was the most important details about Bocce. What time is it? When is sign up? When do we play? Please get your calendars out on the table with your pencil or pen in hand and begin to mark these important dates, ready, here we go. • Sun., March 6 at 2 pm is Sign Up Day • Sun., April 3 at 2 pm is the first day we play Bocce • Sun., May 8 is Mother's Day, no Bocce Games • Sun., May 29 not determined at this time is a scheduled BBQ. No Bocce Games to observe Memorial Day Weekend. • Sun., June 19 Father's Day, no Bocce Games • Sun., July 10 Championship Games. • Sun., July 17 Bocce Celebration and Banquet. Other important information you need to know, the cost is $22 for each player and you can pay the Treasurer at the time of sign up or on the first play day. She prefers cash only. Each team consist of four players and must be a resident at Four Seasons. You can have extra players up to six on a team and you need to rotate them during the games. The money is used for the banquet and a possible BBQ, we do not keep your money. We will hand out rules and go over your questions on sign up day and make sure everyone has a team that shows up. You will appoint a Team Captain and that person will organize their team to report wins to the score keeper and manage players. We will ask for volunteers to help keep Bocce managed and fair to all players. The first big rule is have fun and enjoy this great outdoor game. We will send some eblast to remind you that the sign up day is getting closer at the end of February. Good luck to all who sign up. ~ Bocce Chairperson, Ross Brunetto, (951) 926-8295. Bocce
