| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | FEBRUARY 2022 | 3 General Manager's Message By Rick Ruth, CMCA The Annual Membership meeting is just a couple of months away. The meeting is tentatively set for Thurs., April 28. This is where four Directors will be elected, each for a two-year term. The first steps in this process have begun. A Notice of Nominating Procedures and Candidate Resumes were sent out to all owners late last month. This information outlines qualifications to be a candidate on the Board of Directors. For any owners who are interested in serving on the Board of Directors and who meet those qualifications, please fill out the resume and return it by the deadline indicated on the form (Feb. 27, 5 pm). Please take note that serving on the Board requires a two- year commitment. Whether you choose to volunteer to serve on the Board of Directors or not, it is very important to exercise your rights and vote. When the notice and ballots are mailed out next month, please fill out the ballot and return it to The Lodge per the instructions. Maintenance & Violations: Your community is now 19 years "young." As the years have gone by, regularly scheduled preventative maintenance performed throughout the common areas and The Lodge facility by our committee volunteers and contracted vendors has increased and the results of their efforts are evident. One of the many assets that sets Four Seasons apart from other communities is the commitment made by our many committees. • The common area landscaping is regularly monitored by members of the Landscape Committee. • The Lodge, recreation facility, streets and gatehouses are monitored by the Facilities Committee. Each month, the committee members perform a visual inspection of those areas. A report is provided at their twice monthly meetings listing any items needing correction. Their report is forwarded to the management team who then directs the vendors to correct the items accordingly. • Access and traffic control issues are overseen by our Access Control Committee. They are also involved with the security company in keeping the Post Orders up to date. • The Architectural Review Committee is another very important part of this community. They are responsible for working with residents who are improving their front yard landscaping, installing solar panels or repainting their homes. As the common areas are regularly inspected, your homes require "regular inspections" too! Over the past year, we have seen a decline in the number of violation letters for maintenance related issues. Good job all of you! Please take a good look at the outside of your home, especially the south facing side. Look at your shutters, trim and garage door for fading, chalkiness or paint peeling. Please take a proactive approach so the costs to copy and mail all of those letters is minimized. May all of you have a Happy Valentine's Day!
