Now the real education as a Stagehand begins: The play was Funny Little Thing Called Love – performed by Four Seasons Players in June 2019 – directed by our Club's amazingly talented, Sandy Tiffin. There were four scene changes in four different cities. The good news was that the changes only needed to suggest the location. Whew! The first three scene changes had to be executed quickly in between musical interludes. Mind you, all of this takes place in front of the audience as we don't have curtains. Luckily, I had my friend, Ed Coleman, as part of the crew. Ed and I had drafted instructions on everything we needed for each scene. We coordinated with each other for our prop placements. Teamwork is everything! And our Director, Sandy, was a key factor in sharing her vision for the different scenes. I am so looking forward to preparing for our Musical production as Stage Manager. Yes… our Club will be postponing our performance dates beyond "Spring" until a later time this year. But when that time comes - I will be focused - ready, willing, and able for my "final exam" as Stage Manager for this amazing production!
