52 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | FEBRUARY 2022 Our first series study of the new year is based on the song Way Maker by Senach, with the purpose of inspiring the ladies to remember and share times in their lives when God made a way for them out of a difficult situation, worked a miracle in their lives, fulfilled a promise written in the Word, and when He has been a Light to them in this dark world. It has been so inspiring and endearing to hear the ladies' different stories and to discuss various pertinent verses in the Bible. This series will last as long as it takes, as we share our stories to uplift and inspire each other, and to bring us closer together. If you are interested in joining a group of really wonderful women of God who meet together every Friday from 10:30 to 11:45 am in the Game Room at The Lodge to share the Word together, please come join us. After we finish this first series, we will be studying the Book of John in the New Testament, which contains many events and miracles of Jesus, and is so beautifully written. This is non- denominational study and any version of the Bible is acceptable. Hope you will join this amazing group! ~ Eileen Gilbert-Antoine, (951) 922-6829 or egcellent@msn.com "Believeā¦" Women's Bible Study Bereavement Group First, we had Thanksgiving, then the holidays, then New Years, and now another couples' holiday - Valentine's Day. All holidays can be challenging when you have experienced a loss, but certain ones that are "couples" holidays can be even harder. Also, the level of difficulty can also depend on how you used to celebrate. There are a few things you can do to prepare for Valentine's Day. First you can remind yourself, that no matter what, you can and will get through this. Allow yourself to feel whatever it is you do feel. Maybe you will have wonderful memories of previous Valentine's Days. If so, enjoy them. Maybe you will be sad for the loss of what you had. Accept that and go with the emotions. Did you have any traditions at the holiday? You might want to carry on with them or you might want to start doing something completely different. Anything you choose is fine. In other cultures, giving someone something sweet is an act of friendship. Maybe you have some friends you would like to let know how much you appreciate them. Or maybe you'd like to get yourself flowers or candy to remind yourself of how special you are. Give yourself a spa day, go to the movies, or even volunteer somewhere. The choices are yours. Holidays will be different, but they can be enjoyed. The Bereavement Group is here to talk through some of these feelings and to share with others who have gone through something similar. You are always welcome. We meet on Mondays from 1 to 3 pm in Room 3 of the RCN.
