FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | FEBRUARY 2022 7 By Cindy Graves February has several major events that you're not going to want to miss and I want to give you a heads-up about a really special event happening in the first part of March. First of all, can you believe that the Super Bowl is taking place so late this year? It's on Sunday, Feb. 13 and we've got a super fun event for you to come together and enjoy! Starting at 12:30 pm, you can join us at The Lodge Ballroom for games, dancing, football watching, prizes, and food. You're welcome to bring your favorite beverage and to bring a potluck item of your choice or, if you'd prefer, the Kopper Kettle will be offering some "Big Game" dinner and snack plates you're welcome to purchase. There is no price to attend but we'd really appreciate knowing that you intend to come, so that we have enough paperware and seating. Please RSVP Janine Rohrbacker at (949) 326-3133 or etgrad76@icloud.com Next, if you like laughing and watching other couples try to guess what the other person will say, you'll love the Four Seasons version of "The Newlywed/Oldiewed Game" hosted by our favorite Emcee, Gail Lindeboom. This first-time event will be on Friday, Feb. 18 at 6 pm. There will be a Mexican buffet with margarita mixings (bring your own tequila) set-up in the Ballroom that night! Come down and see your favorite Four Seasons couples compete against one another for prizes. There will also be a raffle that night for the audience members (that's you!). I hope to see you there! Karaoke will be on Saturday, Feb. 19 at 5:30 pm and since this is the month of love, you never know who you might find singing to you that night. Feel free to bring your favorite beverage and snacks. As usual, this will be in The Lodge Ballroom. Finally, be sure you make it to this year's special "National Night Out" event! Stand in solidarity with our wonderful Beaumont Police and Sheriff 's Department and hear important updates from our city officials. We will be offering delicious, pre-ordered dinners (more info on that to come). Be sure to stay tuned to the Daily Report and the Activities Blast for all of the details, that are still in the works. This will be the best "National Night Out" yet! Here is your "Save the Date" and a little teaser as to what's coming in March… Be sure to mark down Friday, March 4 for the Four Seasons Mardi Gras Dance Party and Golf Cart Parade. If you have a golf cart and get a kick out of decorating it for parades, this event is right up your alley! Don't miss the party: we'll be having a New Orleans-esk celebration with a live Mardi Gras Dixieland band, a second line (bring your own decorated parasols to march with) a Kings Cake, beads, a King and Queen and dancing music! The Bistro will be offering a Mardi Gras dinner and then we'll march out to the golf cart parade. This is going to be a blast so watch for all of the upcoming details. For those of you who have been to an actual New Orleans Mardi Gras, please note that this is not a clothing-optional event. Have a loving February and keep March in mind!
