| LIFE IN SOLERA | FEBRUARY 2022 | 25 Happy February and Valentine's Day! Welcome to everyone who wants to have a fun afternoon and make friends while making greeting cards. I will have a complete kit ready for you for each of the three cards we will be working on. Please contact me if you are new to our group so I can add you to my list. When you receive a reminder from me, please respond as to whether you will attend or not. I look forward to seeing all of you this month. We meet on the 10th and the 24th, at 1 pm in the Arts & Crafts Room. Mark your calendar for the second and fourth Thursday of every month. For the safety of all, please wear a mask in the classroom - vaccinated or not. All you need to bring for the first time are two items: a pair of scissors and some type of fast drying liquid glue, or a roll of double-sided tape or a tape runner. This will be my ninth year teaching scrapbooking and card making at Solera. We have grown beyond belief. Thank you! As COVID is still here, I am still sanitizing chairs and tables. I also sanitize all my workstations and crafting tools while I put your kits together. At the time of this writing, masks must be worn in the Clubhouse. And, I will require that you have been vaccinated to keep everyone safe. Our February dates are Feb. 3 and 17. Start time is 1 pm and cost is still only $10. February is the month of love…. look around and you see PINK and RED all over. So this month we will focus on romantic cards. My interpretation of romance is lace and flowers. Not necessarily PINK and RED, but no male cards this month. These cards could be wedding, birthday, friendship, sympathy, thank you or anything else you desire. I will bring my stamps and will stamp the sentiment of your choice. I design and include everything you need to put your cards together with my step-by-step instructions. If this is your first time, please bring a fast drying white glue (I like Tombow) and a small sharp scissors. If you don't have supplies don't worry, I will have a supply on hand for you to purchase at cost. I buy in bulk and pass the savings on to my class. Glue is only $3.50.
