Men's Golf
It was a reduced schedule of golf tournaments for the Men's
Golf Club in December, due in large part to the persistent
rainy weather. Overall, however, 2021 was a good golfing year
in spite of COVID, in that we managed to play all our major
tournaments and some 'away games' as well!
We also managed to resurrect our full social agenda and, as
I mentioned in the January issue of The Colony News, it was
good to finish the year with our very enjoyable Annual Awards
Dinner. I now have some photos to share, courtesy of our "club
photographers," Hank and Gloria Fleischer. Our thanks to both
of them for doing a great job – and to Gloria for providing the
very appropriate centerpieces.
Our worthy winners pictured above are Mike Basel and
Billy Brown, Malcolm Grant, Mel Rich, Steve Liguzinski, Larry
Determan, Ken Kawamura and Sam Currie.
Congratulations to all the winners in 2021. We look forward
to another year of enjoyable and competitive games of golf
during 2022.
