Recognizing Our Service Organizations By Lynn Bogh Baldi, Director Emertius When we think of our communities we usually think of the local government, the School Districts, the agency's that serve our utility needs, police and fireā€¦ all part of what keeps our city running on a smooth track. What doesn't usually come to mind are the many service organizations and nonprofit clubs that contribute so much to our daily lives in our hometown. These organizations are a vital part of what makes a community a great place to live. Beaumont Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization, serving business and community since 1954. The Chamber fields as many as 300 phone calls each week, and those amounts can be double at Cherry Festival time, Thanksgiving and Christmas. The Beaumont-Banning Women's Connection Beaumont Kiwanis Club Beaumont Library District offers classes to prepare for the DMV test Beaumont Lions Club Beaumont Masters Swim Club Beaumont Woman's Club The Bereavement Support Group Business-to-Business There are so many community Connection in Banning programs, classes and clubs California Boys and Girls Club available that the reader may not even be aware.
