| LIFE IN SOLERA | MARCH 2022 | 11 March is here already! The Welcome Ambassadors will be getting ready for the upcoming "Social Gathering" and a presentation "Living in a HOA," on Wed., April 27. New residents since Oct. 1, 2021, through March 31, 2022, will receive a personal invitation. However, everyone in the community is invited. It begins at 6 pm, so mark your calendar. March begins our campaign for two Board Members. We encourage all new residents to attend different get togethers to meet the candidates. Ask questions and remember to vote. Ballots will be mailed out in April and are due back in May. Please pay attention to the dates. This is also a reminder to all owners to vote. March is also when the Finance Committee and the Board develops the new Budget for our fiscal year beginning June 1, 2022, through May 31, 2023. The new budget will be mailed in April. There have been broken gate arms at our gates on Golf Club and Brookside mainly caused by guests who are not entering at the Main Gate. Guests type the resident's address into their GPS, which often takes them to the incorrect gate. Please remember two things: 1) guest should be using the address to the main gate: 1550 Fairway Drive. Then they can ask directions or enter the resident's address in their GPS. 2) It is the resident's financial responsibility for repair or replacement of the gate arm. The most effective way to eliminate guests using the wrong entrance and breaking gate arms is to ask your guests to use the main gate's address in their GPS. Owners pay the HOA assessments. Asking our guests to use the correct entrance is an effortless way to help keep our assessments down. Please talk to your guests about which entrance they use to enter our community. If their answer isn't the main entrance, correct them. This will save them time once they know which way to enter our community. More often than not, cars are waiting at the other gates until a resident enters and follows close behind, causing damage to their car and the gate arms. This can be frightening for the resident as they do not know who is following them and they're not sure what they can do to stop them. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this information, please email Marcia Casem at mac-extra@msn.com or leave a message at (951) 769-6144 and a call will be returned. Thank you to our ambassadors for everything they do in making our new residents feel welcomed to our community. ~ Marcia Casem, Chairperson, New Resident Welcome Advisory Committee Welcome Committee
