24 | LIFE IN SOLERA | MARCH 2022 | Happy March and Happy St. Patrick's Day! We will be meeting on the 10th and the 24th at 1 pm in the Arts & Crafts Room. For the first time, you will need to bring two items: a pair of scissors and some type of fast-drying liquid glue, a roll of double-sided tape, or a tape runner. Did you know that in early Roman days, March was actually the first month of the calendar year? As March brings the first day of spring (March 20) it's the start of new beginnings. Hopefully, that means COVID-19 might soon be over. It is also known for Woman's History Month, National Craft Month, and it's my birthday month! Something different is always fun; this month we will be making shaped cards and fancy folds. I design, cut, do most of the stamping and put everything into individual kits. You can come to class or just purchase a kit. My kits are complete with step-by-step instructions and loads of pictures. March dates are March 3, 17 and 31. If this is your first time, the cost is still only $10. We will be following CDC guidelines. Proof of vaccination is again required. If you were already verified, you do not need to verify again. Please bring a fast-drying white glue (I like Tombow) and a small pair of sharp scissors. If you don't know where to buy Tombow glue, don't worry, I will have a supply on hand to purchase for $3.50. I buy in bulk to give you the lowest price possible.
