Quilting Enthusiasts Feb. 3 was the first meeting at our new time. We had an awesome turnout. Two members, Jeri Sorenson and Mary Christelman (at right), represented the Quilting Enthusiasts at the Four Seasons Expo. We welcomed three new members. Thank you all for stopping by. Our first "sit'n'sews" were scheduled for February and March. Easter, as you all know, is just around the corner, so the April date will be announced in the next issue of the Breeze. We did not present donation quilts at the February Neighborhood watch meeting due to the Waste Management presentation. However, we did donate several lap-size quilts to the VA. The members did decide on a "block" challenge/exchange and other projects are currently in the works. Please check the Activities Page in the Daily Report for upcoming projects. You don't have to know how to quilt to join our group, we have lots of ladies willing to help you get started — and we have lots of fabric too! What's a quilter without a stash of fabric? Peace through quilting. ~ Mary M. Moody-Cox, 808-430-7469, 4seasonsquilters@gmail.com 48 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | MARCH 2022 Ceramics Class Happy St. Patrick's Day from Ceramics Class. Ceramics Class has something for the novice crafter looking for a new hobby, or someone who has experience and wants to create unique designs or pieces for friends and family. In addition to individual projects, we offer class projects throughout the year to teach new techniques. Come and join in the fun; drop by the Arts & Crafts Room to see our monthly ceramics class schedule and learn more about our upcoming class projects. We meet Wednesdays from 1 to 4 pm. Please see the class schedule for any exceptions. A certified instructor and/or an experienced class team lead is available to support your crafting needs; participation is at your own pace and frequency. Anita Worthen takes the items to a volunteer who distributes them where they are needed. At right is a picture of some of our recently donated items. We meet Tuesday mornings from 10 to 11:30 am. All levels of knitters and crocheters are welcome to join us.
