14 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | MARCH 2022
Some reminders before
you hit the trails
George and Samson love our trails. Submitted by Rhonda and Tom Louden
This is the trail behind Potter Creek and Clark Creek - The Paseo. It's beautiful and so
quiet. Submitted by Tippi Quiggle
One of the things I have noticed on my walks is the
wonderful picnic area at the end of A trail. However,
I have never seen anyone using the picnic area to have
a picnic. So, my wife and I decided to go have a picnic.
Before we enjoyed our snack, we photographed our picnic
set up. Submitted by Robert and Judy Dalton
As the weather begins to warm, all eyes (and feet) turn
toward the network of beautiful trails within Four Seasons.
To keep safe during your outing, please remember the
following:
• Walk with a buddy and a cell phone. While you may not
have great reception at every point of your walk, it's better
to be safe.
• Tell someone when and where (which trail) you're going
— and not the buddy you're bringing. Tell a neighbor or a
family member when you leave and when you'll be back.
• Bring water! How many times have you heard this one?
Well here's one more. Bring at least one full bottle of water.
• Wear comfy shoes, even if they're ugly. I know someone
who had darling shoes that were two sizes too small. They
were her bunco shoes. You can't do that with walking shoes.
• Don't fondle the wildlife. There are coyotes, snakes,
bobcats, mountain lions, and maybe even bears. If you
see one, don't run. They like that - running is their favorite
sport. Back away slowly - they'll get bored. ~ Courtney
