28 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | MARCH 2022
Hello and good-woof to all of you.
My name is Sadie and I am a Mini-
Australian Shepherd. My "Bestie" friend,
Barbara, and I have called Four Seasons
home for quite a while now. I am almost
12 years old, and both Barbara and I fit
nicely within the active adult lifestyle
here. But I can't tell you how much I am
really enjoying the new Canine Corral!
This place is super fun, especially
when we get a group of us together for
organized "yappy hour" play time! Some people say they don't see
many dogs using the Corral. Well, the weather hasn't been the most
cooperative for our human friends. While we pups all have our own
personal fur coats, our people have to bundle up in jackets, hats, and
gloves. They would actually warm up a bit if they would just run
around and play more, like we do. Instead, they huddle together in
groups shivering in the wind. It's actually quite funny to watch. They
are all waiting for warmer weather, I guess.
The Corral is a great place for us to stretch our legs and have a good
run. The Puppy Playground equipment really adds a delightfully
different dimension to our play time. The shade structures are lovely,
but our human friends seem to like standing in the sun for that extra
warmth at this time.
We know that our winter weather isn't over yet. There will be more
rain and cool weather to come. We just ask that members stay out
of the Corral after the rain to give the DG ground cover a chance to
dry out. The humans get annoyed when we track that stuff into our
homes.
Spring is coming and we are asking you to keep an eye out for
exciting announcements regarding the Corral. In the meantime,
anyone wishing to join us can pick up an application at The Lodge.
The Canine Corral is a clean, safe place for us to play and let our
people socialize. After all, a well socialized human is a pleasure to
