All Seasons RV Last month's outing to Quartzsite, Ariz. was once again met with great weather, shopping, friends, and food. As expected, the overall number of vendors was fewer than in past years, but still offered more to see than anyone could explore during the week. Treasures of all sorts were available for purchase, some items even finding their way back here to Beaumont. Thanks Richard and Ann for organizing the event. The club is currently preparing for our next outing, located at Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula. This destination is a popular one that offers a variety of things to see and do, including a round of golf and performing quality control duties at several wineries. New and/or interested members are always welcome to join us at our monthly meetings. We meet at The Lodge on the fourth Thursday of each month at 6:30 pm. ~ Steve Bennett, 4stevesjunk@gmail.com 60 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | MARCH 2022 Your Four Seasons 8-Ball Club started this year playing its two in- house tournaments. We look forward to many more. We are almost in full swing, practicing and holding two in-house tournaments each month. We hold an 8-Ball tournament and a 9-Ball tournament each month and in the future (once it's safe to do so) we will again play four additional tournaments each month against senior communities in Hemet and in Cherry Valley. We play one here and one there each month and have so much fun. This month saw the in-house tournaments with new names in the winner's circle. The 8-Ball tournament saw Rick Loney being sent to the loser bracket by Dan Frymire in the second round. Rick fought his way back, winning three matches to get back to meet Dan in the finals. Rick won the first match leading to the final showdown with Rick coming away with the victory. Congratulations to Rick Loney, this month's 8-Ball champion and Dan Frymire, this month's 8-Ball runner up. The 9-Ball tournament saw a new name show up in the final match. Jim Kelley was matched up against banking wizard Leo Babin. Jim was able to keep his undefeated record in the tournament to win the match. Congratulations to Jim Kelley, this month's 9-Ball champion and Leo Babin this month's 9-Ball runner up. The 8-Ball Club plays or practices on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 6:30 until 9 pm. If you're new to the game or have played before, don't be shy — stop by, pick up a stick, and give it a try. Walk in and ask for Del, Larry, or any of the members who are playing. The 8-Ball Club is always looking for new members who would like to learn and play pool to join us. There is a calendar of our events in the Billiards Room on the 8-Ball Club bulletin board. If you have any questions about the 8-Ball Club, contact one of the officers: Captain Del Lyles, Sr. at (951) 845-5114, or Co-Captain Larry Rice at (951) 236-1156. If no one answers, just leave a message and one of us will get back to you. ~ Larry Rice 8-Ball Club Leo Babin, 9-Ball Runner-Up and Jim Kelley, 9-Ball Champion Dan Frymire, 8-Ball Runner-Up and Rick Loney, 8-Ball Champion The Pechanga Resort Casino RV Resort in Temecula
