Club
It was great to welcome a number of new Garden Club members during Do Dues
Day in January. As our spring, summer and fall event planning gets underway, there
will be many opportunities for members to get involved. Information and sign-
up sheets will be available at each meeting. (In the interest of safety, our first two
meetings of the new year were canceled. However, we plan to be back on schedule
with an in-person meeting this month.)
Our guest speaker scheduled for the March 9 meeting will be Barry Martin. He is a
Home Garden Consultant for several of the North County Armstrong Garden Centers.
Barry will share his knowledge on growing roses — a perfect topic to welcome spring!
All residents and guests are invited to attend the monthly Garden Club meetings,
which are held on the second Wednesday of each month. The doors open promptly
at 9:30 am for coffee, goodies and social time, followed by the program at 10 am.
Be sure to get your raffle ticket when you check in for a chance to win a prize at the
drawing.
