Country
Western
Dance
Everyone was happy to get back
to dancing last month and we will
continue to learn new dances this
month.
We will have lessons every
Monday evening, April 4, 11, 18
and 25. Lessons are in the South
Clubhouse from 7 to 8:30 pm.
Come and enjoy.
Since we were shutdown in
January and February we are
looking at extending our season
into June. We will let everyone
know if we do go into June.
Tap Dance
Last month these ladies tapped to
Elvis Presley's rendition of Blue Suede
Shoes in That's Entertainment theater
in-the-round, along with the Makua
Hula Hawaiian Dancers and Perla
Williams, Instructor.
Both Jeann Svarvar and Perla
Williams choreographed this fast-
paced dance that had the tappers
and hula dancers dancing in a circle!
This was so unusual, but the audience
loved it.
For more information on Tap
Classes at the North Clubhouse on
Tuesday and Thursdays, give Jeann
Svarvar a call at (951) 990-2779.
Sun Lakes Strummers
We are still strumming, humming, and singing in the Bus Room on Thursdays (except the third Thursday of the month) from 1 to 3 pm. Al
Morton continues doing an amazing job of being our leader with Mel Ocampo giving us weekly updates. Many thanks to both of them, and
thanks to those who continue to participate. String instruments are held against our hearts and share a unique, lovely experience because the
music comes through us. Want to try? Call Judy Garthwaite at (951) 907-0648.
