Perspective from Artist of the Month,
Robert Isava: Farm houses, Romania,
11" x 14" acrylic on canvas. There are so
many beautiful, hidden places around the
world that I wish I could visit. Every town
and countryside has something to catch
our attention. These unique places have
inspired many great painters and artists.
I chose this painting because it takes me
to a place of serenity and wellness. This
scene invites me to visit and see how
the cold winter is left behind, bringing
new hope and harmony all around.
Painting allows me to challenge myself
in many ways. I learn something new
with every painting. Most of all, I enjoy
my classmates. They are the BEST! We
help each other and admire each other's
progress. Our teacher, Rob Kelman, has
been a great guiding light. He allows us
to be curious and explore the world of the
arts. We all have hidden gems of talent
within us… we just need to find them.
Classes are Mondays 10 am to 12 noon
and/or Wednesdays 6 to 8 pm. There is a
nominal $5 fee per person, per session. If
