PLC President Ellen Kippel announces that Sat., July 30 is our Annual Pet
Lovers Club Brunch - the first after a two-year break and I am excited about
the upcoming event. Please save the date. More details about the event will
follow over the next couple of months.
The San Diego Humane Society may be willing to provide on-site
microchipping for dogs and cats that day, but they require a minimum
commitment of 15 people signed up ahead of time. If the Humane Society
does come to the event and we have our pets coming for microchipping, we
may also be able to provide rabies vaccinations, and we will look at having
the event in the overflow parking lot under a tent."
Despite our best efforts, our pets do sometimes get out of our property.
If they are not wearing a collar with an ID, the only way the owners
can be found is by scanning for a microchip. If you want your cat or
dog to be microchipped, please let Ellen know by June 15 by emailing
