The CIMC is both pleased and proud of the community's
response to our new OHCC front entry. At the request of the Board,
a sub-committee was formed between the CIMC and the Landscape
Committee to begin work on all the details. With the collaborative
efforts of the Board, the HOA staff, Securitas, Moon Nurseries and
O'Connell, we finally made it happen! Thanks to everyone involved!
Almost a year ago, we all understood the importance of creating
an upscale first impression for our visitors, potential buyers and
residents. Research shows that homes with attractive and well kept
front entrances sell faster and at higher sales prices. That being said,
the following are the accomplishments of our new front entry:
• Old signage removed to create a backdrop for the new landscape
• New monument installed to showcase our new updated logo and
brand identity
• 200 new specimen trees and plants added to emulate plantings
around the clubhouse
• Revitalized and decreased the lawn border
• Reworked the irrigation to reflect the water wise new plant
materials
• Added bark/mulch to the 360 feet of planter to help with water
retention
• Placed lighting for the new monument and uplighting some
architectural plantings
• Reduced old flagpoles
• Cleaned up and painted the guardhouse with new window
surround details
• Relocated the security golf cart charging station behind the
guardhouse
• Installed new fencing and gate enclosures for the guardhouse
generator and compressor
• Moved the irrigation controller out of sight from the front of the
guardhouse planter
• Worked with Securitas to provide welcoming signage
We are thrilled that we finally have a newly remodeled front entry
that reflects our Mediterranean theme and image. We hope our
residents feel a sense of renewed pride in our beautiful Community.

Going forward, the CIMC will continue to work on
recommendations to enhance our Community image and protect
our property values.
